    Ethan and the Jets

    My boy Ethan Brooks has been a free agent for the past few months, having had the best run of his career as a Baltimore Raven, for whom he started many games at right tackle and where he also served in the vital capacity of swing tackle.     The Power of Journals (Why Do We Let Them Have It?)

    Here is a question for all of you academics: How do the journals justify (and why does the profession enable) their rule that one is only allowed to submit an article at one journal at a time? Why do they get, and why do we allow them to have, that sort of power over what is, after all, our work?
