Now, thanks to a nearly $164,000 matching grant from Save America's Treasures, a public-private partnership between the National Park Service and the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the NY State Museum can work to preserve fragile artifacts. Those include the Arnold note that led to his undoing as a traitor.
