Freud Invented Modern Mind [video 58min]

Among other issues that continue to inform Freud's legacy, Kramer considers historians' contentions that Freud inaccurately represented his findings to complement his theories, and he describes Freud's contributions in areas such as seduction and dream analysis. Kramer is author of the books Listening to Prozac and Against Depression, among others. He is also host of the National Public Radio series"The Infinite Mind," for which he won a National Mental Health Association Media Award and the Gracie Allen Award from the American Women in Radio and Television.
