Paul Kengor chronicles Ronald Reagan's career-long campaign against communism in The Crusader: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism, tracing the former president's anti-Communist activism back to his days as president of the Screen Actors Guild. Kengor is a political science professor and director of the Center for Vision and Values at Grove City College in Pennsylvania.
