Reading Is Fundamental program turns 40 [audio 13min]

The organization called Reading is Fundamental celebrates its 40th anniversary. The group, founded in Washington DC by a former schoolteacher, encourages kids to read by giving them books, especially kids who would not have books of their own otherwise.
