Viet Cong spy worked as 'Time' correspondent [audio 4min]

Host Marco Werman speaks with author Larry Berman about the remarkable life of secret spy Pham Xuan An. Berman will recount An's double life in a 2007 biography, The Perfect Spy: The Incredible Double Life of Pham Xuan An, Time Reporter and Vietnamese Communist Agent (Smithsonian Institution Press/Harper Collins). An was a correspondent during the Vietnman War for Time Magazine and Reuters... and all the while he was spying for the Viet Cong communist forces. Yesterday (9-20-06), An died of emphysema.
