Michael Rosenthal discusses his book Nicholas Miraculous: The Amazing Career of the Redoubtable Dr. Nicholas Murray Butler. Professor Rosenthal talks about Butler's influence in America during the early part of the 20th century, Butler's continuous efforts at self-promotion, and the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to Butler in 1931. He also reads from a portion of the book. The talk was hosted by Columbia University. Includes Q&A.
