Parallels Between My Lai and Haditha Incidents Are Few [audio 4min]

Although there are some disturbing parallels, the story that is coming to light about the conduct of U.S. Marines in Haditha, Iraq, is not identical to what happened in My Lai, Vietnam. Retired Maj. Gen. Robert Scales argues that one of the reasons the two incidents are different is that the military has learned lessons from My Lai and would not repeat the same mistakes.
