Hilary Claire was a white, middle class scholarship girl living in 1960s South Africa. Unhappy with what was happening politically she was one of the few women who joined the African Resistance Movement. The ARM were a non-violent group who carried out acts of sabotage against the apartheid regime. Jenni Murray is joined by Hilary to talk about what inspired her to take an active role in South African politics, whether she considers herself a terrorist and whether she thinks her actions really made a difference.
