Robert the Bruce is Scotland's best known king although little is known of the women in his life. In the first of a two part drama-documentary we finally hear their side of the story. In four short years his wife Elizabeth de Burgh went from being a crowned queen to a fugitive running for her life while Isabel of Fife paid a terrible price for her loyalty.
