Friday marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of Joseph Smith, the founder of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints, more commonly known as the Mormon Church. Richard Bushman, author of the new book, Joseph Smith, discusses the religious environment during Smith's lifetime.
