Saying farewell to Jeeves and other corporate mascots

The Internet search engine AskJeeves.com is retiring its cartoon mascot, Jeeves the butler. Jeeves will have plenty of company at the corporate mascot retirement home, where other advertising staples rest in obsolescence.
