Disneyland’s 50th Anniversary (is everyone celebrating?)

Disneyland in California, which bills itself as the “happiest place on earth,” is commemorating its 50th Anniversary. The resort filled with “real life” Disney characters and several theme parks is a wondrous destination for millions. The resort has been duplicated in other countries, including France. The Disney Empire that oversees Disneyland, Disneyworld, and numerous other enterprises including the ABC Television network has not necessarily been a happy place, however.
