NYC memorializes V-J Day kiss & photo (2min)

New York City has unveiled a life-sized statue in Times Square, based on a famous Life magazine photo of New Yorkers celebrating the end of the war with Japan on Aug. 14, 1945. The woman in the photo, Edith Shain, now 86, was on hand for the unveiling of Seward Johnson's sculpture, Unconditional Surrender.
