Thomas Jefferson -- Misconceptions (57min)

Host Bill Chrystal speaks with Pres. Thomas Jefferson (Humanities scholar and author Clay S. Jenkinson) on the topic of misconceptions about our third President that have come about since his death.

Clay S. Jenkinson adopts the persona of Jefferson each week in The Thomas Jefferson Hour: Your Weekly Conversation with America's Third President, to comment on current events and answer questions you may have about Jefferson's thoughts on any and all topics. Clay has portrayed Thomas Jefferson for more than two decades. He is the recipient of the National Endowment for the Humanities highest award, then called the Charles Frankel Award, for his humanities-based 1st-person interpretation methodology, which also includes portrayals of Pres. Theodore Roosevelt.

Chrystal is a Reno-based humanities scholar, Congregational minister and war historian. He has been the host of The Thomas Jefferson Hour for seven of its nine years, and his knowledge of current events, war, the Founding Fathers, and human nature makes him the perfect host for Pres. Jefferson.
