At Mode for Caleb, Caleb McDaniel observes that"we're all abolitionists now." This is the first of his two part series, Antislavery Scripts.
The post-election re-orientation of Josh Marshall's Talking Points Memo is a small measure of the importance of the forthcoming struggle over the"privatization" of Social Security in the United States. Of course, they give historical revisionism a dirty name. That helps me to understand why some conservatives spit the word out with contempt. Still, reputable historians much necessarily engage in the processes of revisioning the past.
