This is funny and very much on target. Gary Trudeau had John Kerry figured out. Back then, of course, his column was still funny and somewhat even handed in its satire. That was long ago.

Yeah, I'll admit, his needling of the Democrats is a bit less deep than his needling of the Republicans. But it's still pretty good stuff (and I still think that the continuing BD character indicates a deeper respect for that side of the aisle, too). And the Republicans keep giving him so much material to work with.....
