Fred Smith of Federal Express has called for elimination of the U.S. Postal monpoly. By doing this, he will join the small handful of big businessmen who actually advocate free markets. Now.....of course, Fred might have a personal interest in this, but let's not quibble. In a big business world dominated by the pro-regulation/higher taxes discourse of the likes of Soros and Buffett, it is a nice change of pace.
