  • Since 1996, over 200 historians have taken advantage of History News Service to market their op-eds to newspapers and periodicals. Founded by Joyce Appleby and James Banner, HNS offers editorial advice and distribution to nearly 200 major newspapers across North America. Recently, Indiana University's David Nord has assumed responsibility for HNS. This week, he unveils its new website. There you'll find guidelines for your op-eds and its services.
