Sorry to interrupt the drumbeat of electoral politics, but I'm tenureable faculty now. Given the oddities of collegial living, I'm also, in my 6th year on campus but first year as tenure track faculty, Presiding Officer of the Faculty (which sounds much grander than it is -- I am to be chief catherd at the monthly faculty meeting).
