George Will - Democratic Strategist???

Am I reading yesterday's depressing column from George Will incorrectly, or is he coming out (ok, leaning) of the closet for Kerry on national defense? I'm assuming this is Monday morning confusion on my part from lack of coffee. Somebody help me out here.

If he's actually favoring Kerry in any way, it isn't in this article: his swipes at Kerry are pretty clear. If he was favoring Kerry, he'd have pointed out that Kerry and Edwards clearly cited import security in their discussions of national security.
