Sigh. We have a wonderful debate about same-sex marriage and all kinds of good stuff
about 527s, but Aeon posts a thread on sci-fi and it gets the largest number
of comments I've seen since I've been on L&P. Don't get me wrong, I love
sci-fi, but we might have reached new heights of geekdom - and living up to libertarian
stereotypes!

Wait, I thought political bloggers were _required_ to engage periodically in geek/comix/sci-fi threads. I didn't know I had a choice. If it'll make you feel better, I'll post a comment in the SSM thread. What are 527s? ;-)

... the geeky discussion of sci-fi is limited to 3 or 4 of us, and at least one of the geeks is gay. Not that there's anything wrong with being ... a geek. :)
