Glad to hear from David Beito, I'm a huge fan. His work on fraternal societies really helps you to understand what was lost in the Twentieth Century as the federal government grew. It was one of the most important books I read -- you can say that the true heart of America is the Mooseheart (location of loyal order of the Moose.)
However, one quibble with his comment. I don't "fear" a New Deal repeat; I'm concerned about it. All reasonable people would be. We're not afraid here; we're inquisitive. Thanks much!
