Exactly. Any private sin is forgiven in FDR. There are also a lot of urban legends about Harding such as the woman in the closest story. Even the Nan Britton story is dubious as Ferrell points out.

I think the best point that he makes is this one: The only reason Harding is reviled by today's historians is that he MUST be entombed along with Hoover (and Coolidge) in order to elevate FDR.
