I guess now I've seen everything. Tom Clancy, the favorite novelist of conservative hawks, is against the Iraq war.

And he says we need a new military designed for such conflicts as Kosovo, Haiti, Liberia, etc. He says our missions our now nation-building. He's not for pure defense as we would like.
His opposition to Iraq wasn't discussed. Anti-war? Perhaps. Anti-nation-building? No way.
