Obamaniacs have lulled themselves into the naive belief that Republicans won't lay a glove on their saint.

But the Republicans are already starting to use the same kind of underhanded attacks against him that they used previously against the Clintons and John Kerry.

Rep. Jack Kingston (R-GA) is saying Obama refuses to say the pledge of allegiance. Operative Roger Stone told the AP that Obama's from the McGovern wing of the Democratic Party and"is part of the blame America first crowd." Still others are saying Obama's a Muslim.

All of these attacks are predicated on the assumption Americans are stupid.

And the campaign against him has yet to begin. Brace yourself.
