Morales on John Stewart

I just saw on the Daily Show with John Stewart (Comedy Central) a remarkable interview with Evo Morales. CC will broadcast this several times on Wednesday, and I think it is unusual enough to consider going out of one's way to watch or tivo it. This is one place where our students get their "news."

To the extent that Morales is a socialist and his economic policies will hurt the Bolivian people we have only our government to blame. Without America's irrational war on the coca plant he never would have come to power.
