Blogging Beyond English

Thanks to Jonathan Dresner, Cliopatria's History Blogroll is now indexed. At the top, click on the Category that interests you (for instance, Digital History, Science and Technology or Ancient History) and it takes you to the blogs that you want.

I learned, this week, that there are others who seek to foster the community of history blogging. Blogosfera de historia is a Spanish-language aggregator of history blogs. It includes some of the usual English-language suspects, but Blogosfera de historia lists Spanish-language history blogs, primarily. It introduced me to many that I'd previously not known. For your convenience, I've added it to the index to Cliopatria's History Blogroll. Beyond those that I gleaned from Blogosfera de historia, I recently found other history blogs that are Primarily Non-English Language, such as History of Macedonia. It offers the option of translation (via babel fish) into nine different languages. These additions to Cliopatria's History Blogroll bring the total of Primarily Non-English Language blogs there to 67, just edging out Wars and Warriors as our largest Category of History Blogs.
