"The Next Generation of History Teachers: A Challenge to Departments of History at American Colleges and Universities" is a report endorsed by the AHA's council and OAH executive board, the National Council for History Education and the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History. The product of a major conference last summer, it will be discussed at the OAH convention on Friday 30 March at 1 p.m. in room L100B, on the lower level of the Minneapolis Convention Center.
