His mix of afflicting the comfortable and comforting the afflicted may be a pox on both houses, but it's a balm in Gilead. Over at Invisible Adjunct, her invisibility takes up the discussion with KC Johnson's critique of interdisciplinarity. Great Books, anyone? Sounds like a good idea to me, but Great Books isn't at its best in including the excluded.
