Christianity and individualism

I'm pleased to announce the publication of my new book, The New Testament and Literature (Chicago: Open Court, 394 pp.)

The book attempts to define the New Testament's "DNA," its distinctive patterns of ideas and literary methods, and to explore the ways in which that DNA has reproduced itself in later literature, both Christian and anti-Christian.

One of the book's major themes--a theme that may recommend it to this group--is the strong emphasis on individualism in the New Testament and Christian literature.

Wow, the publisher is really groovey! Linking philosophy to Harleys, Dylan, the Atkin's Diet, Monty Python, and even . . .Christianity.
