I enjoy the LRB as well as the NYRB, the latter for 4 decades now. On Google, you might want to check out the short piece in the Fin. Times by the economist, thomas Hazlett.

Like many "book reviews" in the London Review of Books, this "book review" provides the occasion for a thoughtful and informative essay about Google. And, as I mentioned in my original post, the article in today's Guardian is an edited version of the essay in the London Review of Books. I encourage people to read the longer version in the LRB as well as the shorter version in the Guardian.
