The Eurovision Song Contest

After looking at the pictures and reading the captions from Saturday night’s fiftieth anniversary Eurovison Song Contest, I got to thinking that maybe, just maybe, there was something to be said for Soviet rule in eastern Europe and, in particular, the Red Army band.
