Friday Afternoon Silliness

Maybe it is because it is Friday afternoon at the end of finals week. Or maybe I'm just a sucker for this sort of thing. But longtime rebunk reader Chris Pettit sent this along and I find it amusing. Everyone likes bubblewrap, after all.

Chris --
Our year is done, except that I agreed to teach something called Maymester, a three week intense course. That started today. I am teaching a course I did here last summer when I first arrived, Contemporary Issues and Historical perspectives. Three weeks, three themes; Global terrorism; Modern Africa; Sports and Society. Last year I did a week on civil rights and one on the election in a five week summer class, but I wanted to switch it up, and since down the road I'll be doing a sports history class, I figured I'd use this course to set the table for that one.
The ChiSox look good. I'd be a bit surprised if they run away with the Central, but getting off to a hot start can allow for a lot of margine of error. The 1984 Tigers went 35-5 and cruised to a title despite playing .500 ball after those first 40 games.
