USM: Board Does Nothing to Halt the Destruction
At its meeting today, the Mississippi IHL Board went into executive session for 90 minutes to discuss Shelby Thames and the University of Southern Mississippi. But it took no action. Board President Roy Klumb used the dreaded expression"moving forward" in his terse public remarks, and other Board members refused to comment to the press at all. Thames, on the other hand, insisted that he is still"having fun."
At a time when the editorial pages of the Hattiesburg and Jackson newspapers have both turned against the Thames regime, and many of the remaining professors at USM are wondering whether they should be investing their time in anything except sending out their vitas, this is disheartening news.
Details to follow.
