Liberty and Power Represented on AHA Panel!

Liberty and Power continues to scale new heights in the blog world. In January 2006, yours truly will represent us on a panel on History Blogging at the Philadelphia convention of the American Historical Association.

The organizer of the panel, Ralph Luker at Cliopatria , has assembled a powerhouse group: Luker, Juan Cole , Hala Fattah, also of Cliopatria, and the mysterious Invisible Adjunct . The chair of the panel will be the indefatigable Rick Shenkman of POTUS and the History News Network.

This will be great fun. Discussion is underway to include a live feed which will allow a virtual audience to participate. One of the co-chairs of the program committee called it"the coolest proposal ever."

L and P members and other bloggers are urged to attend if they can. Let's also take the opportunity to have a more general get-together of bloggers.
