Why did we decide to begin sending out two editions of the newsletter, plain text and html? It was clear to us that most readers would prefer the html edition. But some servers will not allow the html edition to pass through their junk mail filters. To make sure everybody continued to receive at least the plain text edition that they were accustomed to, we decided to continue sending it out when we began generating the html edition.
