Bernstein Reviews New Book on Jim Crow and the Supreme Court
If you haven't read, David's book, Only One Place of Redress: African Americans, Labor Regulations, and the Courts from Reconstruction to the New Deal , do so now. It is the single most important book on black history written by a libertarian-oriented scholar. Unlike many law school professors (please take no offense David), Bernstein has devoted much time to mastering the secondary literature written by historians.

I will have to get David Bernstein's book before I forget. I knew I should have gotten it before. The reviews of it reminded me of Jack High's "The Politics of Purity" which is a marvelous critique of the FDA.
You could probably come up with a complete collection of books critiquing each department of the Fed and each major area of intrusion.
Just a thought.
