You could be right. I hope you are. However, I think it is more likely Kerry will drop this bomb. Kerry has opened himself up to multiple attacks (and thus possibilities to get tangled up in his own words) by trying to have it both way on the Iraq war.
Dubya would be more likely to put his foot in his mouth if he faced the same John Kerry who debated on the Dick Cavett show. That version of John Kerry offered a clear and and easy to understand alternative. In contrast to John Kerry in 2004, he seemed quite sure of himself and confident where he stood.
