Mr. Schudson is a professor of communication at the University of California, San Diego.

He was interviewed by HNN's Rick Shenkman on April 22, 2006 during a break in the proceedings of the annual meeting of the Organization of American Historians (OAH), where he appeared on the panel,"The Public's Right to Know, 1945-1990."
