SELECTIVE MUSLIM SILENCE CONTINUES
Publicly, they not only remained SILENT but engaged in a defiant show of unity. The"undiplomatic utterances" of the Iranian president were simply covered up. Ahmadinejad went home thrilled to report"that support for the members in the case of any foreign invasion has been one of the most important approvals of the third extraordinary meeting of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC)." Moreover, Ahmadinejad was not shunned by his fellow Muslim leaders. On the contrary, he was given special honors:
While performing the tawaf, King Abdullah was accompanied by prominent leaders, such Malaysian Prime Minister and current OIC Chairman Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Sudanese President Omar Bashir and OIC Secretary-General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu. The OIC leaders were also given an opportunity to pray inside the Ka'abah.
Ahmadinejad’s Holocaust remarks meet chorus of condemnation , reports the Indian Express but the condemnation was by the usual suspects. The US, EU, Russia and the"shocked" Kofi Annan who had just celebrated Palestine Day in front of a map in which Israel did not exist.
Not a single peep has been heard from the Muslim world in condemnation of Ahmadinejad's racism. They are too busy complaining about Danish Cartoons and protecting Islam from such attacks as advocacy of women's equality.
As I am always grateful for small favors, my spirit rose to receive an email from Tikkun declaring that the Muslim Public Affairs Council which is currently holding its convention in California (Joseph Wilson is scheduled to speak though I would not hold my breath. Last year he was supposed to address the yearly AFIO convention but to the horror of the organizers, simply failed to show up) has denounced the statements.
Los Angeles - (12/8/05) -- The Muslim Public Affairs Council today denounced statements made by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who questioned whether the Holocaust took place and suggested that the state if Israel be dismantled and moved to Europe.
The Selective Muslim silence continues.

For a change I partly agree with Klinghoffer: it is useless , I would safely add stubid, to deny the Holocaust.
A horrible crime of unprecedented scope and magnitude was committed by Nazi Germany against an innumerable number of human beings during WWII. The exact number of its victims is immaterial , a hundred or fifty thousands is as bad and as criminal as six millions . Whether it was confined to Jews or ,as seldom noted, included also gypsies, Russians etc is equally immaterial.
What makes it doubly horrific, beside the very act of wanton murder of uninvolved bystanders, is that it targeted certain RACES and as such was the inevitable outcome of the implementation of Racially based laws which withholds certain basic human rights because of a certain "racial" provenance; in this case the right of Jews to live and prosper in their homeland Germany , Austria,Poland, France etc etc!
The irony of the human condition is that this horrible crime bred and nurtured an equally horrible crime at the hands of the erstwhile victims.
Israel, the direct offspring of the Holocaust, grants and withholds basic human rights based on the "racial" provenance of the applicant.
According to the Israeli "Law" of return ANY Jew have the automatic "right" to settle in occupied Palestine while EVERY Palestinian is automatically denied his RIGHT of RETURN to his homeland !
Plus ca change plus c'est la meme chose : racist provenance as the foundation of a "nation/state" is as criminal as liquidation on a "racist " basis and Zionist Israel is the back side of the same horendous photo; Israel is, in essence, the alter ego of the Holocaust!

No comment from "Professor" Klinghoffer about her lies, fabrications and half truths speak lowldly of her "ProfessoriaL" bankruptcy.
Good enough !

For more on the subject of Jews in the Arab world, See, The Treatment of Jews
in Arab/Islamic Countries
By Mitchell Bard
It is not the first time nor will it, probably, be the last time that a post from Professor Klinghoffer contains so many conscious lies and fabrications in such a short space. The following notes some of the most glaring among them.
-. “At first, Hitler wanted to do what the Arab states such as Egypt did which was to evict their Jewish citizens.”
Egypt DID NOT evict its Jewish citizens; they chose to leave in the after math of the 1948 war. The progressive, non Zionist, among them remained until very recently.
As a historical fact some Arab states, Syria, far from EVICTING them will not allow them to leave to join the enemy in the usurping “nation/state” and a concerted international effort, at the behest of Israel, is ongoing to allow them to do so.
-“ For example, in the thirties and forties, Jews were the largest group living in Baghdad.”
An outright figment of a sick imagination that implies that Baghdad had more Jews than Arabs in the said period.
The audacity of this fabrication should not, however, be lightly bypassed: could it not be the precursor of a Zionist claim on Baghdad?
Far fetched as this is it should not be lightly discounted ; with all the similar fabrications that preceded the Zionist conquest of Palestine ( A land with no people for a people with no land) and with Zionist historical declared dreams of a Greater Israel (From the Nile to the Euphrates) in mind that could well be the first demarche in a new Zionist/Israeli usurping/expansionist move towards oil rich Iraq!
“Israel does refuse to accept the return of Palestinians who escaped the country in 1948. Their number is roughly equal to those of the Jews who escaped Arab lands. In other words we are dealing with populations exchanges similar to those between India and Pakistan (both Musharaf and Singh are example of such an exchange)or Greece and Turkey”
With typical intellectual dishonesty Professor Klinghoffer states:” In other words we are dealing with populations exchanges similar to those between India and Pakistan “ but , consciously and purposefully, fails to add the paramount DIFFERENCE between the two situations.
Whereas the Palestinians were expelled, forcefully evicted, from their homeland and are denied the Right to Return, the India/Pakistan population exchange was part of a mutual agreement between the two parties.!
]with Professor Klinghoffer in charge of “educating” people two questions impose themselves.
1-Is that how she teaches her students; with lies, fabrications and half truths?
2-How can she, how does she, deal with the undeniable fact of Israel’s RACIAL/RACIST provenance and foundation in her classrooms?

"According to the Israeli "Law" of return ANY Jew have the automatic "right" to settle in occupied Palestine while EVERY Palestinian is automatically denied his RIGHT of RETURN to his homeland !"
This is only partially correct. Every Jew does have a right to Israeli citizenship. There is nothing unique about it, the same is true for French, Germans and other European countries. Israel is the only Jewish state and it was created in the aftermath of the Nazi rule in Germany. At first, Hitler wanted to do what the Arab states such as Egypt did which was to evict their Jewish citizens. Unfortunately, no country agreed to accept them. So, the Nazis decided on "the final solution" - murdering them. The Jewish right of return was designed to prevent a repeat of that history. I am no longer sure but as of a few years ago, the majority of Israeli Jews were refugees from Arab lands. All together Israel absorbed (not kept in refugee camps as wards of the UN) 700,000 Jewish refugees from those lands. For example, in the thirties and forties, Jews were the largest group living in Baghdad. As for the Palestinians who used to live in what is now Israel. They are Israeli citizens and they and their children have equal rights.
Israel does refuse to accept the return of Palestinians who escaped the country in 1948. Their number is roughly equal to those of the Jews who escaped Arab lands. In other words we are dealing with populations exchanges similar to those between India and Pakistan (both Musharaf and Singh are example of such an exchange)or Greece and Turkey. Unfortunately, with the exception of Jordan, the rest of the Arab countries refused to grant citizenship to the refugees choosing to keep them and their decedents in camps supported by the UNRWA. Even today, the grandchild of a Palestinian refugee born in Lebanon, Syria or Egypt, is not considered a citizen and is not permitted to work legally in the country. Ironically, even the PA refuses to accept them as citizens. So, those born or whose parents were born in Israel, are not permitted to vote in the current Palestinian elections!
So, please, spare me the racism diatribe.
