FRENCH TOWN WITHHOLDS WELFARE FROM RIOTERS' FAMILIES

Sorry, I did not write down the name of the town. But France 2 reported that the mayor announced he will not pay the family of a convicted rioter the municipal part of the welfare payments. The destruction cost the municipality 300.000 Euros and such payments will help defray the costs.

In France, parents are held responsible for the behaviour of their children. Now, this is real hardball.
