Hmmmm... at least according to Jason E. Lewis and others in the Public Library of Science, Biology journal, Stephen J. Gould's seminal critique of Morton is itself flawed.

This is a potential bummer for me, in that I've been using material from Mismeasure of Man for years.  On the other hand, this is a really cool example of how the relationship between history and science continues to evolve.  So to speak, of course.
