Kenyan news: Raila Odinga criticizes Miguna Miguna over statements NASA CEO is Jubilee scout

- This post is for those who are searching Kenya news today and the latest news in the country

- The leader of National Super Alliance (further referred as NASA), Raila Odinga criticized in a letter to newsrooms the claims that NASA CEO Norman Magaya and the top coalition strategist David Ndii are Jubilee scouts and frustrate the course of the coalition

- The sweeping statements against Magaya and Ndii were made by scandal-ridden lawyer Miguna Miguna and as a result, called unfortunate by Raila Odinga

- It is very ironical that the lawyer is the leader of NASA's proclaimed an outlaw National Resistance Movement wing

The roots of this story have their beginning from the statement of Miguna posted on Facebook on the 18th of February, 2018. The post of the lawyer claimed that the above-mentioned officials of NASA (namely David Ndii and Norman Magaya) had been conspired to throw the activities of the coalition into disarray. This post was rather long and among other scandalous accusations there was information (we can’t say for sure is it true or not) that the NASA officials had a conference call with Kenyan Diaspora without previous coordination with him personally or someone from the NRM leaders.

The letter of Odinga to newsrooms as of the 19th February aimed to make clear that the claims against NASA’s secretariat staff are far from reality and are unfortunate. Raila Odinga insisted on his full confidence that Norman Magaya and David Ndii have dedicated their time and all resources to NASA's course.

Please note: On the 30th of January, Raila Odinga was “inaugurated” as an alternative president of Kenya. The same day the Interior Ministry called the NRM (National Resistance Movement) an “organized criminal group” in terms of the Prevention of Organized Crimes Act.
